Sample Answer 1 for Writing Task 1 Question – You Recently Visited a Tourist Attraction and You Were Very Pleased
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding assistance provided by one of your staff members during my recent visit to your tourist attraction.
I visited the site last Saturday with my family while we were exploring the area during a short holiday. As it was our first time there, we were unfamiliar with the layout of the attraction and the various activities available. Additionally, we were travelling with my elderly parents, which made navigating the premises slightly challenging. Fortunately, one of your staff members, Mr. Roy, noticed our difficulty and kindly offered assistance. He patiently explained the different sections of the attraction, recommended accessible routes for my parents, and even arranged for a wheelchair to make their visit more comfortable. His professionalism and genuine willingness to help made our experience truly memorable.
I would be grateful if you could pass on my thanks to this staff member and consider recognising his excellent service. Employees like him play an important role in ensuring visitors leave with a positive impression.
Thank you for maintaining such high standards of hospitality.
Yours faithfully,

Sample Answer 2 for Writing Task 1 Question – You Recently Visited a Tourist Attraction and You Were Very Pleased
Dear Head of Staff,
I am writing to commend the exceptional support I received from a member of your team during my recent visit to your tourist attraction.
My visit took place earlier this month while I was travelling with a group of friends. Unfortunately, shortly after arriving, I realised that I had misplaced my phone somewhere within the premises. Naturally, I was quite concerned because it contained important travel information and personal contacts.
One of your staff members promptly assisted me by helping search the nearby areas and contacting the information desk. Within a short time, the phone was located and safely returned to me. Throughout the process, the staff member remained calm, patient, and extremely helpful.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could acknowledge this individual’s efforts and convey my gratitude to them. Their dedication and professionalism truly enhanced my experience and left a very positive impression of your organisation.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Yours faithfully,
Timothy Hortons

Sample Answer 3 for Writing Task 1 Question – You Recently Visited a Tourist Attraction and You Were Very Pleased
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to appreciate the amazing experience my family and I had while staying in Pangot for slightly over a week. I must say that your staff is one of the excellent client servicemen I have ever had in the longest time.
We didn’t really plan to stay in Pangot for this long as we all were quite skeptical about the quality of hotels over here. However, this trip was certainly one of the most cherished memories we have treasured so far. From the very moment we entered the hotel till our extended stay was over, your staff didn’t stand a chance to be displeased with. Right from the receptionist to the cleaner and the washerman, everyone was very cordial. Moreover, the dishes and the local cuisines were droolworthy.
Kindly convey my feedback to all of your staff, especially, Andrew, who ensured our minutest requirements were fulfilled.
Yours Sincerely,
Prakhar Panchbhaiya
