Step 1. Read the Instructions Carefully

• Grasp the meaning of each choice.
• True: The information corresponds with the text.
• False: The information is in opposition to the text.
• Not Given: The text does not talk about it.

Step 2. Skim the Passage First

• Read the passage to grasp an overview of the information provided.
• Quickly read to find out the main points like location, services, price range, or facilities.
• Pay attention to the main words and qualifiers such as all, most, only, always, etc. These change the overall meaning of the statement.
• Mark or highlight in your mind such words before scanning the text.

Step 3. Scan for Keywords in the Passage

• Look for words with similar meanings or phrases to find the information.
• Remember to read the context in which the word has been used to get the answer.
• The statement may sound the same but have a different interpretation.
• Do not assume the answer just based on the keywords.

Step 4. Be Careful with ‘Not Given’

• When you can neither prove nor disprove the statement, pick Not Given.
• Do not infer or guess based on the logic of the situation.
• Use logical elimination and get rid of the choices that are obviously opposite or somewhat similar to the information but not exact.
• This will gradually build up your selection using reasoning.

Step 5. Check Order of Information
