Sample Answer 1
Childhood is the most enjoyable period of our lives. It was the 90s when I was a youngster, and I saw and experienced many things that today’s children are unable to see or enjoy. With the passage of time, there have been significant changes in family structure. I used to live with my extended family. The family consisted of my parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and maternal grandparents.
My average day began at about 6:30 a.m. when I prepared to go to school after freshening myself and having breakfast. Since I used to live in joint households, I used to wait for my other siblings to join me for breakfast. By the way, I preferred milk and paratha for breakfast, and I occasionally had to settle for a basic veggie sandwich and a glass of milk.
After finishing breakfast, my uncle used to drop us to school. And after finishing up school, we would generally rush back home straight to take some rest. I used to go out to the park in the late afternoon to play badminton with my friends. Every day, we would come up with new games to play, such as kho-kho, hide and seek, cycling, and so on. I used to finish my schoolwork later in the day and then either watch TV or play carrom board with my family. Walking home from school with my friends and siblings was the most delightful part of my day since I could chat about anything and make jokes with them.
Sample Answer 2
I think my fondest recollection of memories or emotions that I have from my childhood is the absence of pressure in my life. After all, that is what we love about our childhood, the feeling of being free of otherworldly pressures and expectations. You get to do whatever you want, be whoever you want, and enjoy everything as you want. I loved chocolates as a child, and my favourite treats were cupcakes, especially vanilla ones. Around the age of 3, my kindergarten school wouldn’t start until later in the day, so my mother would wake me around 9 AM and we’d go about our routine. She’d freshen me up and dress me for the day before sitting me in front of the TV to watch my favourite show, Teletubbies. I don’t think there was ever a day I missed watching it, that’s how much I loved the show! I’d go off to school afterward and learn and play to my heart’s content. Upon returning home, I’d play with my barbie dolls till dinner. My mother would feed me while narrating some fairy tales and I’d listen attentively, always loving the way in which she would narrate. Sometimes, I wonder if that’s where my love for books began! After dinner, I’d play till bedtime or cycle around my residence along with my elder brother.
