Buildings are of historical significance and in some countries, a lot of peoples are beginning to be interested about the history of the building they occupy. This essay will give reasons for this curiosity and offer few ways in which people can investigate this.

They are many reasons why people will want to know the history of their houses. First and foremost they will want to know the materials used in making the building so as to ascertain whether the building can withstand future changes and repairs when the need arise. Secondly some buildings in the past have significant history as they might have been used as worship center or medical centers during the war, knowing these gives one a sense of purpose and fulfilment.

They are various method one can find out about the history associated with their building. One major way is through history books, records such as the initial plans and original mappings of different building are well documented, hence this can be sorted to know some history of a building. Another approach is by oral histories and stories passed down from generations to generations. Further more questions can be asked from previous occupant of the structures.

In conclusion, knowing the origin and the story of properties one lives is good and welcome development. Therefore, efforts should be made to ensure more and proper documentation of buildings and such documents should be readily available to the public.

Concentrate on the correct usage of articles, subject verb agreement, preposition and punctuation.

Pay attention to spellings and use of appropriate words in a sentence.

The word count is low at 240. It has to be a minimum of 250 words.

Use C2 level of words.
