Children are God’s gift to planet earth. They say that if one keeps a child happy, they are keeping the almighty happy. So, this may become the chance to make your examiner happy and score a high band. All you need to do is take your one minute to find a child you adore the most and recall the best moments you have had together. Even if you don’t have someone to recall, just make the best use of your imagination, then put some good vocabulary into it and voilà! Your work is done.
Here are some vocabularies that might help you.
Munchkin | A name for a small child or someone you love |
Infant | A baby |
Toddler | A child who just learnt how to walk |
Kiddo | Addressing a child in a friendly manner |
In this cue card, you may have questions about the good memories you have had and about things you did together. Even if you don’t have any, you can add the activities you liked as a kid and connect them to the child you are speaking about.
Some of you may not like children much and may find them annoying but, speaking negatively may not be a good option. As this is a very sensitive topic, it’s better to set a positive tone while speaking. For example, you can speak about how happy you feel when they are around and how they make you forget about your worst day by putting a cute smile on.
