Currently there is a Trend towards the Use of Alternative Form of Medicine - Sample Answer 1
The popularity of alternative medicine has grown rapidly in recent years. However, I strongly agree that such treatments are often ineffective and, in some cases, potentially dangerous. In modern healthcare systems, excessive reliance on unverified remedies can undermine evidence-based medicine and expose patients to serious risks.
One major drawback of alternative medicine is its lack of scientific validation. Unlike conventional treatments, most alternative therapies are not tested through rigorous clinical trials or peer-reviewed research. As a result, their safety, dosage, and long-term effects remain unclear. For example, individuals suffering from chronic conditions such as diabetes or arthritis may abandon proven medical treatments in favour of homeopathic or spiritual remedies, only to find that their condition worsens over time. This not only delays recovery but can also lead to irreversible health complications.
Another significant concern is the risk of physical harm. Certain herbal products may contain toxic substances or interact adversely with prescription medications. For instance, some herbal supplements are known to reduce the effectiveness of antibiotics or blood-thinning drugs, which can result in severe side effects. Moreover, many alternative practitioners lack formal medical training, increasing the likelihood of misdiagnosis. In cases such as cancer or heart disease, delayed diagnosis can be life-threatening, particularly for vulnerable groups like the elderly or young children.
In conclusion, although alternative medicine may seem appealing due to its natural image, its lack of regulation and scientific support makes it unreliable and sometimes dangerous. Therefore, its perceived benefits are outweighed by the substantial risks it poses to individual and public health.

Currently there is a Trend towards the Use of Alternative Form of Medicine - Sample Answer 2
In recent years, there has been a noticeable increase in the use of alternative forms of medicine, prompting concerns that such practices may be ineffective or even harmful. While it is true that some alternative treatments lack scientific validation and can pose risks if misused, I strongly disagree with the claim that these methods are largely dangerous. In my view, alternative medicine can be beneficial when applied responsibly and in conjunction with conventional healthcare.
To begin with, it is inaccurate to dismiss all alternative therapies as ineffective. Practices such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, and yoga have been used for centuries and continue to provide relief for millions of people worldwide. In particular, alternative treatments often focus on prevention and holistic well-being, addressing not only physical symptoms but also mental and emotional health. For example, meditation and Ayurveda are widely recognised for reducing stress, improving immunity, and enhancing overall quality of life, which are outcomes that conventional medicine sometimes struggles to achieve.
Moreover, alternative medicine can be especially valuable in managing chronic conditions where modern treatments may offer limited solutions or cause severe side effects. Patients suffering from long-term pain, insomnia, or anxiety often turn to alternative therapies as complementary options rather than replacements. When supervised by trained practitioners, these methods can reduce dependency on pharmaceutical drugs and promote sustainable healing.
In conclusion, while alternative medicine should not replace conventional medical treatment in critical situations, it would be unreasonable to label it as inherently ineffective or dangerous. When used sensibly and alongside modern medicine, alternative therapies can play a constructive role in promoting health and well-being.

Currently there is a Trend towards the Use of Alternative Form of Medicine - Sample Answer 3
In the last few years, there have been many technological advances in almost all fields. The most evident ones can be found in the medical area, where alternative forms of medicines are gaining immense popularity. However, some people argue that these alternative forms have detrimental effects on human health. I’m afraid I disagree with this view. Further, I believe that alternative treatments aren’t harmful, and these can cure diseases as they have good efficacy.
To commence with, the alternative forms of medicines such as Ayurveda, Naturopathy, and Homeopathy are gaining huge popularity for their effective mode of treatment. These forms of medicines also have fewer side effects. Moreover, the medicines are usually made up of natural substances and are entirely safe to be consumed. Even if the results are not produced immediately, the cures are safe and provide long-lasting relief from pain, illness, and ailments. These forms of medicines are even used for treating hereditary diseases like diabetes and arthritis. Further, acupuncture is another form of therapy that helps to relieve pain in the back or knees. These alternative methods rarely lead to another disease, thereby gaining an edge over conventional allopathic medicines.
Furthermore, nowadays, people hesitate to consume allopathic medications due to their harmful side effects. Also, these medicines cost a fortune for most people. In contrast, traditional forms of therapy are inexpensive and less invasive. Moreover, alternative methods of treatment cure a considerable number of diseases successfully. For instance, if an individual undergoes surgery in the allopathic method, the individual might recover quickly but with some side effects. But, if the same individual opts for a homeopathic practice, the results will be much better and effective.
Though modern medicines are handy during emergencies, it is undeniable that they have dangerous side effects.
To sum up, I believe that alternative forms of medicines such as Ayurveda, Homeopathy, etc., pose no significant risk factors to human health and are effective for specific medical issues.
