It is a well-known fact that many criminals engage in more criminal activities after they get released from jail. In my personal opinion, there could be a myriad of reasons for the convicts to involve themselves in committing such crimes. However, I believe that the government and society should take necessary measures to deter criminals from attempting crimes.
Firstly, there are a plethora of reasons that encourage the offenders to commit crimes again. The predominant one may be unemployment, as criminal background drastically reduces employment opportunities. Most employers would refuse to recruit them for their past criminal records. As a result, they remain jobless. Secondly, these lawbreakers do not get emotional support from their families, resulting in them being homeless. In addition, society doesn’t accept criminals to live with them as they fear that youngsters may get influenced, and even if they reside in their communities, society treats them suspiciously. All these facets lead the ex-criminal to rejoin the bad company and become involved in illicit activities. Hence, these criminals proceed to commit unlawful activities to earn their livelihood.
But, there are possible solutions to reduce the criminal tendencies that will also help the offenders avoid indulging in illegal activities. The government can intervene and introduce schemes that will provide financial assistance and employment opportunities to the culprits after their punishment gets over. The government can also implement any rehabilitation program for the lawbreakers in prison to recoup. Furthermore, the government can conduct counselling sessions with a therapist who would help these criminals build their social lives. Additionally, people should change their mentality and outlook against the culprits and convicts and provide them with immense emotional and moral support.
To sum up, although countless factors motivate the lawbreakers to commit crimes again, I believe that the government and society should take the responsibility to divert convicts’ minds from attempting further crimes.

“Nobody is born a criminal” is a well-known adage. In most cases, what makes a person an offender are the circumstances they face and sometimes it can also be the perverted psyche. Whatever may be the case, many are of the opinion that a considerable number of criminals go back to their felonious ways once they are released from imprisonment. So, in this write-up, the rationality behind such a ridiculous venture and ways to vanquish them will be addressed.
In the first place, a deficit of employment opportunities can compel any individual to embrace the path of delinquency irrespective of the fact that they have come out of prison or not. This factor definitely adds fuel to the fire of skepticism and angst. Employers discern that these ex-cons can cheat them or even butcher them if they antagonize them and fail to provide a chance to prove their reform. Secondly, derision or qualm from the family and friends leads to a breakdown, following which these lawbreakers find it easy to go back to the illegal ways than to coax the close ones of their penitence. So, they leave behind the life of cordial relations and delve deep into the dark world. Moreover, convicts arrested for minor crimes like malicious mischief, drug carriers, red-light offenders are easily enticed by the world of organized crimes like murder, kidnapping, trafficking as they feel rather than trying to convince the world of their predicament, the life of crime will provide them with an easy livelihood as well as respect among fellow malefactors. Additionally, the lack of proper rehabilitation programs shoves the miscreant to pick out the life of disgrace due to a lack of emotional support from society at large.
To make society a better place to live, every individual, along with the government, should change their outlook towards these wrongdoers. Instead of grilling them for what might have been, one should try to adhere to the person expecting them to give up the fraudulent ways because love and care can melt even the coldest of hearts. Most importantly, the government should put up proper reformative counseling in the detention centres. The imprisoned should be given proper counselling and provided certain facilities like healthcare, especially aged ones, so that any kind of debauchery present in their mind can be replaced by positivism. Lastly, engaging these individuals in various creative and hardcore jobs by teaching them new skills can help let off their steam. This will not only help to draw them out of their criminal mindset but also offer them a chance to turn into a new leaf.
To recapitulate, it can be recorded that every criminal does not commit a sin for sadistic pleasure, and so they should not be treated as a transgressor of the same type. They should get an equal scope to prove their repentance and be accepted back in the community. Otherwise,more and more people will commit themselves to illegal ways, and society will perish gradually.

Recent research suggests that the majority of criminals who are sent to prison commit crimes after they are released. Why is this case? What can be done to solve this problem?
It is a well-known fact that vast majority of criminals after they are released from jail are prone to commit crimes repeatedly. There is a planty of reasons why they take the wrong path again. Thus, variety of actions can be done by the government and society in order to prevent notorious criminal statistic.
First of all, there are a plethora of reasons that encourage the offenders to commit identical crimes again. In my opinion, one of them is high rate of unemployment among ex-criminals. The legislation of modern society restrict people who had criminal claim or had a sentence and was in prison. As a result, they are unable to recieve well-payed job and they tend to remain jobless and live in poverty. Most employers would refuse to recruit them for their past criminal records. In addition,not only society doesn’t accept criminals even if they try to do their best, but also family members keep the distance. Without social and personal support ex-criminals have huge chance to come back to the criminal environment again.
However, there are possible solutions to reduce the criminal tendencies that will also help the offenders avoid indulging in illegal activities. The government can take responsibility and support released people financially and mentally. It might have possitive effect by the implementation of financial support while they try to find a job, by obligation of attendence of a group or personal mental healt sessions, by the supervising ex-offenders and implement rehabilitation program. The government and society need to change the mentality and try to accept this people.
In conclusion, I can say that only in collaboration with the government, society and released people we can deal with this problem. Otherwise, without any support offenders commit the crime repeatedly like vicious circle.
