Describe Something Special you Want to Buy in the Future - Sample Answer 1
- What it is?
- What it is used for?
- When you intend to buy it?
- And explain why you want to buy it.
In today’s consumerist world, material possessions are thought to convey a sense of satisfaction to those purchasing them. I would also opine material comforts provide a sense of fulfilment and pleasure and enable people to live a secure, better standard of living for them. In this light, I would like to talk about something special I would want to buy in the future.
Cooking and baking are activities I have taken pleasure in doing for quite some time. The joy of trying out new dishes and sharing them with my friends and family is unparalleled. In order to make the process of rustling up baked goods and other dishes considerably less time-consuming and effortful, I would like to buy a stand mixer. It is a multi-purpose kitchen gadget that makes the process of preparing food much more efficient and facile. They are perfect for fulfilling a wide variety of tasks in the kitchen, like whipping eggs, butter, potatoes and batter for cakes and other baked goods. It reduces the laborious process of whipping ingredients by hand. Usually, when I am baking, creaming together butter and sugar or beating eggs using a whisk seems like an insurmountable task. However, purchasing a stand mixer would simplify that process for me.
Additionally, stand mixers also help knead dough which is a crucial part of the process of baking bread, pizzas, and making pasta from scratch. Besides this, they are invaluable in grinding meat, which is necessary for making burger patties or cutlets or meatballs. As someone who loves cooking, the stand mixer would completely transform the way I work in the kitchen.
However, there are two snags in my plan to buy a stand-mixer. Firstly, it is slightly pricey for me at the present moment, which means that I would have to save up in order to be able to buy it. Secondly, there is a question of how and where to store the stand mixer. Usually, stand mixers are stored on the kitchen countertop. However, that is not possible for me due to a constraint of space in the kitchen. Therefore, until these issues are resolved, I will keep looking forward to being the proud and happy owner of a stand mixer someday in the future.

Describe Something Special you Want to Buy in the Future - Sample Answer 2
- What it is?
- What it is used for?
Most people claim that purchasing their favorite things brings contentment to life in today’s materialistic world. However, I too believe the same to some extent because that’s what drives people to work harder and earn better. Some people aim to buy dozens of expensive sneakers or clothes, whereas others prefer cars and motor vehicles. Therefore, I’d like to talk about something special that I would like to buy in the future.
I have always aspired to buy a home, which I can call my own, but purchasing it isn’t a piece of cake as it is perhaps one of the most crucial decisions in one’s life. At present, my four friends and I reside in a rented PG house, which is very far away from where I work, making the commute to the office very difficult. In addition, I’ve become weary of listening to the landlord’s taunts and mocks for not paying the rent at the earliest. As a result, I resolved to purchase a 3 BHK apartment for myself, inviting my family over.
- When you intend to buy it?
Therefore, a couple of days back, when I was on my way to the office, I found a large billboard hoarding advertising the sale of 3BHK apartments in the area nearby my office. So naturally, I immediately contacted the manager to find out more details. I was surprised when I figured out its address as the apartment was only two streets away from my office and was currently under construction. As a result, I have planned to possess one of these apartments once it’s entirely built and furnished, which might take at least 6 months.
- And explain why you want to buy it.
Owning an apartment would be an excellent advantage for me as I can easily shuttle to the office, and I could be on my own in the space belonging to me, inviting my friends over and partying whenever I want. Although I need to wait for a little longer, I suppose I should be patient because it eventually pays off.

Describe Something Special you Want to Buy in the Future - Sample Answer 3
- What it is?
One special thing I want to buy in the future is a Honda City car. I have always been fascinated by sleek, reliable sedans, and the Honda City has been on my wishlist for quite a long time. It is a compact sedan that combines elegance, performance, and comfort, making it the ideal car for both city commuting and occasional road trips.
- What it is used for?
The car is primarily used for personal transportation. It can seat five people comfortably, making it suitable for daily office travel, weekend outings, or even long-distance drives with family or friends. It also has advanced safety features, good fuel efficiency, and a smooth automatic transmission, which is perfect for traffic-heavy roads in cities like mine.
- When you intend to buy it?
I intend to buy this car in the next year or two, hopefully after I land a stable job and start earning a consistent income. It is definitely a big investment, so I want to make sure I am financially ready before making the purchase.
- And explain why you want to buy it.
The reason I want to buy the Honda City is not just because of its features, but also because it represents freedom and independence to me. Owning a car means I will not have to rely on public transport anymore or wait for cabs. I will be able to go anywhere at any time, whether it's a late-night drive, a family emergency, or an impromptu getaway. Moreover, I have always dreamed of gifting my parents a long drive in a car I own, which would be a moment of great pride for me. All in all, buying a Honda City is not just about owning a car; it is about fulfilling a personal goal and taking a step forward in my adult life.
