The pie charts illustrate the online shopping revenues of the four retail sectors (electronics and appliances, food and beverage, home furnishings and video games) in Canada for the years 2005 and 2010.

Overall there were significant changes in the strength of the sectors in a span of five years. The electronics and appliances sector was the biggest and the video game sector was the smallest sector in 2005. In comparison, the food and beverage sector had the largest segment and the home furnishing sector had the smallest segment in 2010.

Both the video games sector and the food and beverage sector experienced growth in their sales over the given time period. At the start of the period, the video games sector contributed 18% of the total sales and increased significantly to 23% by the end of the period. Likewise, the food and beverage sector had a more impressive rise from 22% to 32% during this time.

On the other hand, the electronics and appliances and home furnishings sector suffered a decline in their income. 35% of sales in 2005 was from the electronics but it moderately fell to 30% in 2010. Home furnishings had a bigger decline and accounted for only 15% of sales in 2010.

The charts compare four retail sectors in Canada in terms of the proportion of their internet sales in two years, 2005 and 2010.

Overall, the proportion of online sales for each of the four sectors changed significantly from 2005 to 2010. While the figures for food and beverages and video games increased, the statistics for the other two sectors fell. In 2005, the proportion of online sales of food and beverages was 22%, but this rose to 32% in 2010. The percentage for internet sales of video games also went up, by 5% from the 2005 figure of 18%.

In contrast, the percentages of the online sales of the other sectors decreased. The most dramatic fall was in the home furnishings retail sector. While this figure was 25% of these four sectors’ total online sales in 2005, it fell to 15% in 2010. There was also a decrease in the electronics and appliances sector, which saw a fall from 35% in 2005 to 30% in 2010.

The pie charts compare the electronic shopping sales of four retail sectors in Canada,in 2005 and 2010.

Overall,while there was an increase in the proportion of teleshopping sales in two of the sectors,the other sectors experienced a decrease.

Food and beverages experienced a dramatic increase.Initially occupying 22% of the virtual shopping sales in 2005,by 2010 this statistics had risen by 10%.Likewise,vedio games accounted for 18% of the total cybershopping sales in 2005.This figure however,rose to 23% in 2010.

In contrast,home furnishings and, electronics and appliances experienced a different pattern.Of all the sales made from catalog buying in 2005,25% came from home furnishings.Nevertheless,this proportion dropped drastically to 15 % in 2010.In addition,there was a 5% drop in the percentage of mail order sales attained from electronics and appliances .In 2005 this portion was 35% but in 2010 it was only 30%.

The two pie charts below illustrates the online sales for 4 shopping sectors in Canada in 2005 and 2010.

Overall, at the beginning of the period, electronics and appliances contributed the most to the sales while video games were the least significant sector. In comparison, at the end of the period home furnishings made the lowest contribution and food and beverages became the largest contributing sector.

In 2005, video games accounted for 3% of online sales . This figure rose to 23% in 2010. Moreover, food and beverages which made up for 22% of the sales in 2005 increased by almost half and reached 32% in 2010.

Electronics and appliances, which comprised more than a third of the online sales in 2005 fell to 30% and became the second largest contributor to onloin sales in 2010. Home furnishings, which made up a quarter of the chart in 2005 shrunk to 15% and became the smallest contributor to online sales in Canada.

The data in the above two pie charts provide information about the four retail sectors electronics & appliance, video games, food & beverages and home furnishing in Canada in terms of proportion of their internet sales in two years, 2005 and 2010.

Overall, It is shown that online sales of electronics & appliance was highest in 2005 but in 2010, internet sales of food & beverages and video games increased while the sales of electronics & appliance and home furnishing products decreased. In 2005, the proportion of online sales of food & beverages was 22% which rose by 10% in 2010. The percentage of video game was 18% in 2005 but it slightly increased by 5% in 2010.

In contrast, the percentage of online sales of other sectors decreased. The most dramatic fall was in the figure percentage of home furnishings. While the figure was one fourth of the total online sales in 2005, it feel to 15% in 2010. There was also decrease in electronics & appliance sector, which saw a drop from 35% to 30% in 2010.

The pie charts illustrate online sales of four different retail sectors in Canada in the years of 2005 and 2010. Overall, it is possible to note that the major type of sale was Electronics & Appliance in the first year, whereas in 2010, food and beverage was the most significant sector for online shopping. The information is presented in percentage.

With only over a third, in 2005, Electronics & Appliance accounted for the majority of the sales, this figure dropped slightly five years later by 5%. The other important feature to be highlighted is the sales of Food & Beverage which ten percent of increase can be observed from one year to the other.

Regarding Home Furnishings, Canada lost ten percent of its online sales, decreasing from a quarter to 15 per cent over the 5-year period. Video Games sales accounted for 15% in 2005, rising to a fifth at 2010.

In 2005, the food and beverage sector rose by 10% from the 2005 figure of 22%. The percentage of video games also went up. The sale was 18% in 2005 and it increased to 23% in 2010.
In contrast, the percentage of the other two sectors fell. The most spectacular fall was in the home furnishing retail sector. In 2005 it was 25% and it went down to 15% in 2010. The other sector electronics and appliances also decreased by 5% in 2010 from 2005 figure of 35%.
In conclusion, we can see the difference in internet sales of these four retail sectors in two years, 2005 and 2010. People spent a lot in the food and beverage sector in the year 2010.
