There are many factors that help in the growth and development of the human race out of which education is unanimously agreed by people across the globe to help establish peace and harmony. I’m in complete agreement with this view. Education is indeed the backbone of a nation and plays a pivotal role in shaping the future. In the forthcoming paragraphs, I shall explain how education aids a country in achieving harmony and economic growth.
Education broadens an individual’s attitude towards life. It instils confidence and helps in developing a positive frame of mind. Educated people do not dwell in old ideas which pull society backwards. They help in creating a world devoid of jealousy, hatred, narrow communal feelings and superstitious beliefs. When these negative feelings are removed, the world becomes a better place to live in. So every nation needs to focus on educating the citizens for its betterment.
Education is directly linked to the economic prosperity of the nation. Educated people attract international trade and business which strengthens the country. They are innovative and help in scientific progress as well. For example, an educated farmer may develop new organic practices of cultivation and help in attaining self-sustenance in food and thereby decrease imports. Education opens the eyes of an individual to do ethically right things which may help in eradicating illegal practices. Chances of theft, robbery, corruption and riots are less in a nation with highly educated individuals. They also help in choosing the right rulers. When a country is channelising all of its energy on growth, there is guaranteed progress.
Although some people may argue that other factors are important, they cannot deny the fact that it is education that can bring about transformation at an individual level.
In summary, education helps in individual development and thereby accelerates the growth of the nation. Every country should insist on the value of education to its citizens to create a better tomorrow.

For a nation, it’s their literacy rate that is often proportional and commensurate to its developmental stride and its structural blossoming and hence is perceived to be the most epitome of all the factors constituting a national development. I agree with this notion and in the forthcoming paragraphs, this essay shall deal with the reasons for the same.
First of all, it is very evident as is suggested by various reports and surveys that the more literacy a region has, the more developed the region is. It holds true for nearly every aspect of human endeavours and society as a whole. Education imparts a concrete foundation to the landscape of society by bolstering the very fundamentals of its citizens. As is said, “Childhood shows the man, as the morning shows the day”, therefore, a country that has its citizens educated and wee-learned right from the start, is very sparsely imperilled and vulnerable to the threat of fragility owing to the lack of human capital. Moreover, it is owing to education only that we come across such breakthroughs and revolutions in the field of science and technology across various fields such as agriculture, dairy farms, etc.
In addition to that, it assuages and mitigates the cross-cutting factors that affect the human race, such as communal violence, vandalism, hooliganism, riots, theft and burglary, etc. As they are rife in the case of uneducated strata, the educated counterparts are not very often seen engrossed in such misdemeanour and malpractices. Education clarifies and justifies the predicament and prejudice from the society also and make them more magnanimous and welcoming when it comes to acceptance and liberalism. For instance, some uneducated nationalists who are actually jingoists, are spotted causing more impediments and hurdles to the way that society walks on for its upliftment. This yet again illustrated the importance of education.
Though, some could contend that other factors as skill development and real-time practical acknowledgement are important too, however, if it is cemented with the baseline of education, it gets ornamental to humans.
Hence, in conclusion, it could be said that education is the most prime and essential asset and resource of society and can’t be surmounted by any other factor.
