Band 8.5 Sample Essay
In the past, factories were often built close to city areas as the lack of transportation forbade people to do otherwise. However, this is not exactly the case today, when industries and businesses are moving from municipal and into countryside areas in flocks. This essay will elaborate on both positive and negative effects of this trend.
On the positive side, firstly, this movement makes perfect environmental sense. Due to industrial activities, residents of many cities around the world are still breathing in air and consume water dirty enough to cause numerous health diseases. Therefore, moving businesses out of the cities will rid human and other species of pollution. A further advantage of this trend is reducing the gap between the rich and the poor in a country, as countryside dwellers can opt to work in factories with higher pay, rather than agricultural work. This will eventually bring about peace and harmony to society.
On the negative side, doing business in the countryside also represents some notable drawbacks. To begin with, skilled workers are a rarity in rural areas. Most people living in small towns and villages do not receive sufficient education to undertake intellectual jobs. What is also disadvantageous is based in regional areas, companies risk distancing themselves further from their customers, their suppliers and other partners in their business transactions, which can weaken their profitability.
In conclusion, moving business from cities to rural areas can be a smart decision. However, there are disadvantages that should be weighed carefully against the advantages.

With the increase of accommodation and transportation issues in many urban centres many business centres are stimulated to relocate into rural areas. In my opinion, I think relocation of businesses to rural areas will have significant benefits compared to any disadvantages it might bring.
On the one hand, relocating businesses to rural areas has some minor drawbacks. Firstly, moving businesses to countryside areas could possible bring about change in their strategic position for their business activities. This means some businesses will be experiencing difficulties with finding customers or the loss of trade partners could be an issue due to long distances. Secondly, relocation of businesses will not be financially beneficial for some businesses. They will probably lose more money which will lead them to a bankruptcy in the long term. For example, one of our companies called X has been relocated from city centre to rural areas as a result of this company lost many valuable customers which were important for their financial position.
On the other hand, despite the disadvantages above reposition of business companies have significant benefits. One potential advantage is that this would probably lead to a solution of certain environmental problems that are present in large cities. It is evident that there are wide range of problems caused by construction and industrial companies that are located in urban centres. Air pollution and contamination could be a good example for this. Another important benefit is that repositioning of businesses could solve the issue of unemployment in rural areas. In other words, repositioning could benefit the economy of country by creating jobs in those areas. As a result, poverty and unemployment could lead into further development of an economy and businesses.
In conclusion, despite the drawbacks presented by relocation of business centres, I tend to believe that the advantages far outweigh any disadvantages.
