The given process diagram shows how different products are made from cocoa beans. Overall, the diagram explains the process in three main stages beginning with the gathering of the beans and sending them out for delivery to the consumers.
Firstly, the cocoa beans are picked from cocoa trees and dried after their shells are removed. After this in the second stage, the dried cocoa beans are pressed to produce the cocoa liquor. Then the process is divided into two steps namely, further pressing and further refining. In the further pressing phase, cocoa cake and industrial chocolate are made. Whereas, in the further refining stage, industrial chocolate is made when cocoa and sugar are added.
In the third step, on one side the cocoa cake is ground to make the cocoa powder and it is sent to the consumers. On the other side, where the industrial chocolate is further processed, the finished chocolates are made as a result of it. These are also then sent to the consumers.
