Isn’t it a favourite topic? Well, yes for most of us. It is indeed a pleasure to talk about things we love the most. What do you need to know here? Words which express your fondness. You need to describe how dear the object or person is to you. So you must use all of the flowery and decorative words to add a sparkle to your talk.
Lets see what those words are:
Beloved person | Someone who is close to your heart |
Prized possession | Something invaluable for you |
Darling | Someone very dear |
I treasure those memories | You keep it close to your heart |
Cherished moments | Have it in your mind for a long time. |
The clue to answering these types of questions is : Finding out Why? Why do you like it? List the reasons. This will help you narrow down your portion needed for the talk. After you have found the reasons, use words [ such as ones in the table above] to intensify your talk. These will mostly make your preparation time productive.
Remember, being indulgent is positive here. Since it is all about things you like, you will talk on a happy note and that will radiate in your voice. Think deeply on that toy you often played with in your childhood and that will make you forget the fact that you’re talking to an examiner. Your
enjoyable state of mind will earn you more points for sure.
